    The front surface must therefore provide enhanced mechanical strength and environmental sealing.

Custom Outdoor Touch Display Solution Design

FANNAL developed a 5-inch industrial outdoor display module optimized for sunlight readability and long-term reliability. The solution integrates multiple design elements to improve optical performance and durability.
  • High-Brightness Display Architecture
    The system uses a 1000 cd/m² high-brightness TFT panel, ensuring clear visibility in bright outdoor environments.

    To further enhance readability, the optical stack includes:
    · diffusion film optimization
    · improved light distribution
    This reduces glare and improves perceived brightness.
  • UV-Resistant Optical Bonding
    To address long-term UV exposure, the display incorporates:
    · UV-resistant black printing
    · UV-CUT SCA bonding technology


    This combination helps prevent:
    · yellowing
    · delamination
    · optical performance degradation
    over-extended outdoor operation.
  • Reinforced Front Surface
    The display is protected by 3 mm chemically strengthened AGC cover glass.

    Combined with OCA full optical bonding, this design:

    · reduces moisture ingress risks
