The project required a 15-inch industrial touch monitor solution capable of operating reliably in vibration-prone industrial environments. The customer also requested a complete assembly, including TPM, mechanical frame, and cable integration to simplify equipment installation.

Custom Industrial Touch Display Solution Design

To meet these requirements, FANNAL developed an integrated TPM + mechanical frame + cable assembly solution. The module was delivered as a complete monitor assembly, allowing the customer to install the unit directly into their equipment.

    The display module uses an Innolux industrial-grade LCD panel.

    Key specifications include:
    · Resolution: 1280 × 800
    · Interface: LVDS
    · Brightness: 1000 cd/m²
    · Viewing Angle: 80/80/80/80 (IPS)
    · Lifetime: 50,000 hours
    · Operating Temp: -20°C ~ 85°C
    · Storage Temp: -30°C ~ 80°C

    The IPS technology ensures consistent viewing quality from multiple angles.
  • Touch System
    The touch sensor adopts a DITO structure combined with a Microchip maXTouch mxT1664T3 controller.

    This industrial touch solution provides:
    · Stable multi-touch operation
    · Strong noise immunity
    · Reliable performance in vibration environments

    The module supports dual USB interfaces for flexible system integration.
  • Cover Glass
    The touch panel uses a 4 mm black cover glass made from AGC glass substrate with chemical strengthening treatment.

    Surface processing includes anti-glare etched glass, providing improved readability in bright environments.

    Gloss level: 70 ± 15

    This structure improves both durability and usability in industrial settings.
