The 21.5-inch FHD capacitive touch display combines a 1920 × 1080 TFT panel with a G+G touch structure and a 2.8 mm chemically strengthened cover lens. The cover glass is specified with IK06 impact protection and ≥7H surface hardness, providing a more mechanically robust front surface for equipment interfaces. With LVDS display and USB touch interfaces, this air-bonded module is suitable for control terminals, HMI systems, machinery interfaces, and other indoor equipment requiring a large-format touch display.
IK06 Impact Protection – The cover lens is rated IK06, providing a defined level of resistance to external mechanical impact.
2.8 mm Chemically Strengthened Cover Glass – The thicker front glass provides a more substantial protective layer than standard thin cover glass constructions.
≥7H Surface Hardness – The touch surface is specified at ≥7H under the stated test condition, helping resist surface scratching during normal equipment operation.

What does IK06 mean for this 21.5-inch touch display?
IK06 is a mechanical impact protection rating defined within the IK code system. For this module, the 2.8 mm cover lens is specified with IK06 protection, providing a defined level of resistance to external mechanical impacts. It should not be interpreted as making the entire display assembly impact-proof or suitable for every harsh-environment application.
Why use a 2.8 mm cover lens on a 21.5-inch touch display?
A larger touch display has a relatively large front surface, so the mechanical design of the cover glass becomes an important part of the module. The 2.8 mm chemically strengthened cover lens, together with the specified IK06 protection and ≥7H surface hardness, provides a more mechanically robust front surface for equipment interfaces.
Is the 210 cd/m² brightness suitable for outdoor applications?
This module is better suited to indoor or controlled-light environments. With 210 cd/m² typical and 170 cd/m² minimum TPM luminance, it is not positioned as a sunlight-readable display. For direct-sunlight applications, a higher-brightness display and appropriate optical treatment would normally be required.
What should be considered when integrating this 21.5-inch touch display?
The host system needs to support an LVDS display connection and USB touch interface. Mechanical integration should also account for the 529.64 × 321.1 × 13.14 mm module outline, mounting structure, cable routing, and clearance around the touch display. The 0°C to +50°C operating range should also be checked against the actual equipment environment.
