This 12.1 inch touch display combines a 1024×768 TFT panel with a 10-point projected capacitive touchscreen and USB interface. With 510 nits typical TPM brightness, wide operating temperature support, and a thinner 1.8 mm chemically strengthened cover glass, it is suitable for industrial HMI systems, medical devices, and embedded equipment requiring responsive touch interaction and long-term reliability.
The 1024 × 768 XGA format remains widely used in industrial and medical equipment where existing software platforms, controller boards, and long product lifecycles favor compatibility over adopting newer display resolutions.
The integrated touch display provides 510 nits typical brightness and 400 nits minimum brightness after touch integration.
The underlying TFT panel delivers higher native luminance, while the projected capacitive touchscreen maintains 85% minimum light transmittance. The TPM brightness specification reflects the actual performance of the complete display assembly used in end equipment rather than the bare LCD panel.
Supporting up to 10 simultaneous touch points, the display enables intuitive gesture-based interaction and multi-user operation where required. For many industrial applications, the additional touch points offer flexibility for future UI development even if only a subset is currently utilized.
The 1.8 mm chemically strengthened cover glass helps improve touch responsiveness and maintain a slim front-panel profile.
While thicker cover glass may be selected for applications requiring enhanced impact resistance, thinner glass can provide a balance between durability and touch sensitivity.
The display supports operation from -20°C to +70°C and storage from -30°C to +80°C, making it suitable for a wide range of indoor industrial environments.
The USB touch interface allows straightforward integration with industrial PCs, embedded computing platforms, and operating systems supporting standard HID touch protocols.

Many industrial and medical systems are designed around XGA resolution. Maintaining the same resolution simplifies software migration, reduces validation efforts, and supports long product lifecycles.
The complete touch display includes additional optical layers such as cover glass and sensor glass. These layers reduce overall light transmission. TPM brightness reflects the actual brightness of the finished touch display assembly rather than the bare TFT panel.
Not always. Many industrial interfaces only require single-touch operation. However, 10-point capability provides flexibility for gesture support, future software upgrades, and applications requiring multi-user interaction.
Thinner cover glass can improve touch sensitivity and reduce overall module thickness. Applications requiring greater impact resistance may benefit from thicker cover glass designs.
Air bonding is widely used in industrial equipment and offers a cost-effective solution. Applications exposed to direct sunlight, condensation, or requiring enhanced optical performance may benefit from optical bonding alternatives.
