This 12.1 inch touch display combines a 1024×768 IPS TFT panel with a USB projected capacitive touchscreen. Featuring 510 nits typical TPM brightness, wide viewing angles, and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, it is suitable for industrial HMI systems, medical devices, test equipment, and embedded control applications requiring long-term reliability.
The IPS TFT panel supports all-direction viewing, helping maintain image consistency when operators view the display from different positions. This can be beneficial for medical equipment, industrial control systems, and shared user interfaces.
The TFT panel provides up to 600 nits typical luminance. After integration with the projected capacitive touchscreen, the complete TPM delivers approximately 510 nits typical brightness due to the touchscreen's 85% minimum light transmittance.
This value reflects the actual optical performance of the complete touch display assembly rather than the bare LCD panel.
Although higher resolutions are widely available, 1024×768 remains common in industrial and medical equipment where existing software, controller boards, and certification requirements favor platform stability and long-term support.
The module utilizes the Microchip maXTouch mxT1664T3 controller, supporting up to 5 touch points through a USB interface. This architecture is commonly adopted in embedded systems, industrial PCs, and medical equipment.
Supporting operation from -20°C to +70°C and storage from -30°C to +80°C, the module can accommodate a wide range of indoor industrial environments.
The 3.0 mm chemically strengthened cover glass helps improve durability and impact resistance while maintaining good optical performance and touch responsiveness.
