The FN1010T080A is a 10.1-inch industrial touch display combining a 1280 × 800 TFT LCD with a G+G projected capacitive touch panel. It supports 5-point finger touch, LVDS display input, and I²C touch communication. With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, the module is designed for industrial HMI, control panels, and embedded equipment where a larger touch interface is required.
The 1280 × 800 resolution provides enough working area for graphical HMI screens, equipment status information, control buttons, and monitoring interfaces without moving to a larger panel size.
The display uses an ADS panel with an RGB stripe pixel arrangement and a typical luminance of 340 cd/m².
The touch panel uses a G+G structure, with a glass cover and glass sensor. It supports 5-point finger touch and provides a rigid front surface suitable for repeated operation on equipment interfaces.
The cover glass has a minimum surface hardness of 7H.
The specified operating temperature is -20°C to +70°C, making the module suitable for equipment exposed to temperature changes during normal operation.
Storage temperature is specified at -30°C to +80°C.
The TFT uses an LVDS 8-bit interface, while the touch panel communicates through I²C. Keeping the display and touch interfaces separate provides a straightforward architecture for integration with an embedded system.
The touch panel and TFT are assembled using air bonding with double-sided tape. This is a practical configuration for industrial equipment when the project requires a conventional touch-display structure and serviceability is a consideration.

The 10.1-inch format is suitable for machine interfaces, automation equipment, production-line controls, and operator terminals where users need to view information and operate controls on the same screen.
The display can be integrated into electrical control cabinets, building automation panels, energy management equipment, and other systems requiring a graphical touch interface.
The 1280 × 800 resolution provides sufficient space for displaying equipment status, measurement data, charts, and control elements in monitoring systems.
The module can be integrated into custom industrial equipment, instrumentation, test systems, and professional devices where the display and touch panel need to be incorporated into a larger enclosure.
It can also be considered for indoor kiosks, information terminals, access-control equipment, and other professional devices where a 10.1-inch touch interface is appropriate.

Yes. The combination of a 10.1-inch 1280 × 800 display, G+G capacitive touch, 5-point finger input, and a -20°C to +70°C operating range makes it suitable for many indoor industrial HMI and control applications. The final suitability should also be checked against the equipment's enclosure, installation environment, and expected operating conditions.
It is not positioned as a sunlight-readable display. With a typical TFT luminance of 340 cd/m², the FN1010T080A is better suited to indoor or controlled-light environments. Applications exposed to strong ambient light or direct sunlight should be evaluated with a higher-brightness display and the complete front-cover structure.
Air bonding is a practical choice when the application does not require the optical performance of full lamination. It can simplify the display structure and may be preferable where project cost, conventional assembly, or serviceability are important considerations. For applications with strong ambient light or strict reflection requirements, optical bonding may be worth evaluating instead.
Mechanical dimensions and mounting conditions should be checked first, followed by the LVDS display connection and I²C touch connection. The host system should also be evaluated for power requirements, touch-controller compatibility, operating temperature, and the actual ambient-light conditions at the installation location. For OEM projects, FANNAL can review these integration requirements before production.
