The FN1010T079A is a 10.1-inch G+G capacitive touch display with a 1280 × 800 TFT LCD. The finished TPM provides 590 cd/m² typical surface luminance, 5-point finger touch, and LVDS and I²C interfaces for display and touch communication. With a -20°C to +70°C operating temperature range, it is intended for industrial HMI, embedded equipment, and control interfaces where a larger touch screen is required.
The 1280 × 800 resolution provides more usable screen area than typical 7-inch panels while keeping the module size practical for equipment interfaces. It works well for graphical controls, monitoring screens, menus, and equipment status displays.
The G+G construction uses a glass cover and glass touch sensor, giving the front surface a rigid feel for repeated finger operation. The module supports 5-point touch and is intended for applications where touch interaction is part of the equipment interface rather than an add-on accessory.
The specified 590 cd/m² typical brightness applies to the finished TPM, rather than the TFT panel alone. This provides reasonable readability for indoor industrial environments and installations with moderate ambient light.
For direct outdoor sunlight, the complete system should still be evaluated for reflections, viewing angle, enclosure design, and ambient lighting conditions.
The display is specified to operate from -20°C to +70°C, allowing it to be considered for equipment installed in environments with significant temperature variation.
The display uses LVDS, while the touch interface uses I²C. This gives system designers separate communication paths for the TFT and touch functions and can simplify integration with an existing embedded controller.

Suitable for machine control panels, automation equipment, factory monitoring systems, and operator interfaces where a 10.1-inch touch screen provides enough space for controls and status information.
The module can be integrated into industrial controllers, instrumentation, test equipment, and other devices that require a graphical touch interface.
The 10.1-inch format can be used for control terminals, monitoring interfaces, and equipment panels where operators need to view multiple parameters and operate controls from the same screen.
It can be considered for diagnostic, laboratory, and medical equipment interfaces that require touch operation and a moderate operating temperature range. Application-specific validation is recommended for regulated equipment.
The display can also be used in kiosks, professional terminals, and specialized control interfaces where a 10.1-inch touch display offers a better user interface than smaller embedded panels.

Yes. The 590 cd/m² typical value refers to the TPM surface luminance, so it represents the finished touch display rather than the brightness specification of the TFT LCD before touch integration.
It can be considered for shaded or semi-outdoor environments, but it should not be classified as a direct-sunlight display based on brightness alone. Outdoor readability depends on reflected light, installation angle, cover glass, enclosure design, and the actual ambient lighting conditions.
G+G means Glass + Glass: a glass cover lens is combined with a glass touch sensor. This provides a rigid touch surface and is commonly used for equipment interfaces that receive regular finger input.
The specified configuration supports 5-point finger touch.
The TFT display uses an LVDS interface, while the capacitive touch panel communicates through I²C.
Yes. For OEM projects, the touch display can be evaluated against requirements such as cover glass dimensions, mechanical integration, touch behavior, interface configuration, and environmental conditions. Customization depends on the project specifications and required production volume.
