The 4.3-inch optical bonded capacitive touch display combines a 480 × 272 TFT display with a G+G touch structure and OCA optical bonding. With 630 cd/m² typical TPM luminance, RGB 24bit display interface, and IIC touch interface, it provides a compact integrated display solution for embedded equipment and control interfaces.
The module uses a chemically strengthened cover glass with ≥7H surface hardness and supports 5-point finger touch. Its optical bonded construction helps reduce the internal air gap between the display and touch layers, making it suitable for applications where display visibility and a more integrated front surface are important. The module operates from -20°C to +70°C.

1. What is the main advantage of the optical bonding on this 4.3-inch display?
The OCA optical bonding process removes the conventional air gap between the display and touch layers. This can reduce internal reflections and improve visual integration, particularly in environments where display readability is affected by reflected ambient light.
2. How does this model differ from an air-bonded 4.3-inch touch display?
The main difference is the bonding construction. This model uses OCA optical bonding, while an air-bonded model uses a mechanical adhesive layer with an air gap. Optical bonding can provide better optical performance, while air bonding may offer a simpler and more cost-sensitive integration approach.
3. Is the 630 cd/m² luminance suitable for outdoor applications?
The 630 cd/m² typical luminance provides higher brightness than many standard indoor modules, and the OCA bonding can help reduce reflections. However, 630 cd/m² alone does not guarantee direct-sunlight readability. For strong outdoor sunlight, FANNAL can evaluate higher-brightness display options and additional optical treatments.
4. What display and touch interfaces does this module use?
The TFT display uses an RGB 24bit interface, while the capacitive touch function uses IIC. The host system should provide compatible interfaces and power supplies for both functions.
5. What does the G+G touch structure mean?
G+G refers to a glass cover lens combined with a glass touch sensor. This construction provides a rigid touch surface, and this module additionally uses chemically strengthened cover glass with ≥7H surface hardness.
6. What temperature range does the display support?
The specified operating temperature is -20°C to +70°C, with a storage temperature range of -30°C to +80°C. System-level thermal conditions should also be considered during equipment integration.
