The FN070AM057-V4.0 is a 7-inch capacitive touch display combining an 800 × 480 TFT LCD with a projected capacitive touch panel. Designed for embedded HMI applications, it features an anti-fingerprint coated cover glass, 5-point touch capability, and an I2C touch interface for straightforward system integration.
The cover glass is finished with an AF (Anti-Fingerprint) coating, helping reduce visible fingerprints during daily operation. This improves screen appearance and reduces cleaning frequency in applications with frequent user interaction.
The display combines a 7-inch TFT LCD with a projected capacitive touch panel, reducing integration effort compared with sourcing the LCD and touch panel separately.
The touch panel supports up to five simultaneous touch points, allowing common gesture operations while remaining suitable for industrial HMI software and embedded user interfaces.
The LCD uses a 24-bit RGB interface, while the touch panel communicates through I2C, making the module compatible with many embedded processors and control platforms.
With a typical brightness of 250 cd/m², the display is intended for indoor environments where ambient lighting is controlled. Outdoor installations or locations exposed to strong sunlight generally require higher brightness displays.
The TFT adopts a 12 o'clock viewing direction, which is well-suited for equipment typically viewed from the front or slightly above, such as desktop instruments, control panels, and operator terminals.

The TFT provides a typical brightness of 250 cd/m², making it more suitable for indoor equipment. Outdoor applications generally require higher brightness and often optical bonding to improve visibility.
The AF coating helps reduce fingerprint residue on the glass surface, making the display easier to keep clean during regular operation. It does not replace anti-glare or anti-reflective coatings, which address different optical issues.
Yes. The projected capacitive touch panel supports five touch points, allowing common gesture functions when supported by the host software.
Displays with a 12 o'clock viewing direction provide the best image quality when viewed from the intended angle. If users will observe the display from multiple directions, an IPS display may be a better choice.
Yes. Depending on project requirements, FANNAL can customize the cover glass, touch panel structure, interface, FPC, optical bonding, and other mechanical or electrical specifications.
