The 1920 × 1080 resolution provides additional screen space for applications displaying multiple controls, status indicators, trend graphs, or diagnostic information simultaneously. Compared with lower-resolution panels, more information can be presented without increasing physical display size.
The completed touch display delivers 690 nits typical TPM brightness, providing improved readability compared with standard indoor displays.
Brightness requirements vary depending on installation conditions. In many HMI systems, higher brightness can help compensate for strong ambient lighting from factory floors, windows, or overhead illumination.
The touch surface includes anti-glare treatment to reduce reflected light from surrounding environments. Rather than relying solely on backlight output, reducing reflections can improve viewing comfort in practical operating conditions.
Using the Microchip mXT1664T3 touch controller, the display supports up to 10 simultaneous touch points. Although many industrial interfaces use single-touch interaction, additional touch capability can support gesture-based operation and future interface expansion.
The display uses LVDS, which remains widely used across industrial computers, embedded controllers, and HMI platforms due to its stability and broad hardware compatibility.
Supporting -20°C to +70°C operating temperature and -30°C to +80°C storage temperature, the display can be integrated into equipment operating outside standard office environments.

Compared with standard indoor displays in the 250–350 nits range, yes. However, brightness requirements depend on installation conditions. Applications exposed to direct sunlight may require additional optical enhancement or higher brightness levels.
Brightness and anti-glare treatment solve different problems. Higher brightness increases light output, while anti-glare treatment helps reduce reflected ambient light.
LVDS remains common because of its stable signal transmission, broad platform compatibility, and long-term availability across industrial hardware.
Many industrial systems operate with single-touch input only. Multi-touch support mainly provides flexibility for future software development and more complex interaction methods.
TPM brightness represents the completed touch display assembly after adding cover glass, touch sensors, and optical layers. It reflects the brightness users actually experience in the final product.
