This 13.3 inch touch display integrates a Full HD TFT panel with a projected capacitive touchscreen in a compact form factor. Combining a 10-point touch interface, EDP connectivity, and a 3.2 mm chemically strengthened cover glass, it is suited for indoor professional equipment where display quality, touch reliability, and front-panel durability are important considerations.
The 1920 × 1080 resolution provides additional screen space compared with traditional industrial display formats. This can be beneficial for applications that display detailed graphics, multiple control elements, or diagnostic information simultaneously.
The display uses an Embedded DisplayPort (EDP) interface, which is increasingly adopted in newer embedded computing platforms. Compared with legacy display interfaces, EDP can simplify cable routing while supporting high-resolution panels.
The touchscreen incorporates a 3.2 mm chemically strengthened cover glass designed to improve front-surface durability. Thicker cover glass may be preferred in applications where accidental impacts or frequent operator interaction are expected.
However, cover glass selection often involves balancing mechanical strength, optical performance, and touch sensitivity depending on the application.
The touchscreen supports up to 10 simultaneous touch points using the Microchip maXTouch controller. While many professional systems primarily rely on single-touch input, multi-touch capability provides additional flexibility for gesture-based interfaces and future software updates.
The TFT panel incorporates anti-glare surface treatment to help reduce reflections from indoor lighting conditions. This can improve viewing comfort in environments such as laboratories, medical facilities, and control rooms.
The display supports operation from 0°C to +50°C and storage from -20°C to +60°C. It is generally intended for indoor applications where environmental conditions remain relatively stable.

EDP is increasingly used in newer embedded platforms because it can support high-resolution displays with simplified cabling. Interface selection ultimately depends on the compatibility requirements of the host system.
In general, thicker cover glass can provide improved resistance to mechanical impact. However, increasing glass thickness may influence touch performance and overall module thickness, so the optimal choice depends on application requirements.
A TPM brightness of 255 nits is generally intended for indoor environments. Applications exposed to direct sunlight or very bright ambient conditions often require higher brightness levels and additional optical enhancements.
